The Honeymoon -- Cruise to Mexico

Our Ship the Elation

Okay, so I have finally got around to honeymoon pictures. Sorry there aren't many, I forgot the camera many times and even when we did I disappointed myself with not taking pictures. For the honeymoon we took a 4-day cruise that left port in San Diego, then made a stop at Catalina Island & then Ensenada, Mexico.

First night surprise THE rabbit

This is how everyone gets around on Catalina Island..Swwweeeet

Downtown Catalina

This is what I woke up to every morning

One reason I really enjoyed our cruise was our nightly ice cream/shirley temple runs. It was very nice having access to anything we could need within a 5 minute walk. We also had dining near a really awesome LDS couple and their 3 kids it was always entertaining. Also, by the end of the week all of our waiters/bartenders knew our orders and taste. It was not worrying about what we are going to cook for breakfast, lunch or dinner.

On the bus to downtown Ensenada

Our authentic mexican lunch only $7 dollars

We decided to go horseback riding

Here I am on Laredo the horse with the attitude :)

We had a great time on our cruise and have decided to try to go on a new one   e v e r y   year. We will see if that happens. I would really like to try the Caribbean cruise, maybe some day.

Hubby's Loss is Wifey's Gain :)

I want to take a moment to express the    g r e a t   loss we experienced today. Jason's other love, his LEXUS was sold. However, due to this I was able to finally buy a new phone a Blackberry Curve. I was really excited, but we are very sad to have parted with the pretty blue luxury vehicle. Perhaps we will see a similar one in another 20 years!! I know Jason is hoping we do. Okay I'm not going to lie, I want a BMW (I know very vain of me).

Easter Eggs and a New Sweater!

Jason and I started our EASTER celebration at about 10:30pm on Saturday!
Here is our w o n d e r f u l set-up!
Only 3 colors, Jason's 3rd grade crayons and only 5 eggs.

Here is Jason. He was really excited about dying eggs.

Here is our FINISHED product. We are pretty BAD artists!

On another NOTE I made Abby a cute little purple sweater! She lovvvvvveeees it! The tennis ball was an early present from the EASTER B U N N Y! I didn't get a picture of it but Jason also got a basket full of Easter bunny POOP(mini tootsie rolls & sugar babies) We had our first day in our family ward. It should be exciting but will take some adjusting. For dinner we went to my Uncle Bob & Aunt Nadine's house and had a yummy dinner & a Wii Tournament, the girls kicked butt. I hope everyone else had a SPECTACULAR bunny day! We love you all. xoxox - Chelsea, Jason & Abby

3.28.2009 - For Time and All Eternity (YiKES!!!)

Jason and I finally tied the knot this past Saturday, March 28th 2009 in the Fresno Temple. The weather was perfect (almost too hot for my taste). My dress fit nicely, I had beautiful hair, and a hot husband, but most importantly all of our friends and family were there to help us celebrate this milestone in our lives.

Our sealing was at 10:30am which was shortly followed by pictures (not so fun). Thankfully Michelle took some great shots the day before in downtown Fresno. They turned out beautiful and I can't wait to see all of them. Jason's sister, Kristin, also got some great shots of the day. They are both so talented and have very gifted eyes.

We had a wonderful luncheon at Me-n-Ed's it all went so smoothly. And of course, the pizza was amazing.

Here is another shot that Kristin got of Jason & I

What was truly amazing was the reception!! The hall did not look anything like it did when we rented it initially. The flowers were beautiful! The draping was just perfect. The food was yummy & all of our friends and family were there to celebrate with us which made it the PERFECT wedding day! Jason and I are so excited to start our lives together, and are so happy that our special day turned out better than we could have ever imagined.

My HOT husband!

This is what I get to wake-up to every morning, of course he generally has groggy eyes, and fuzzy hair but hey, what isn't to love. Here's to Jason and I! Only an eternity to go!
