Embarrassing Moment

Last weekend Jason was gone on one of his photobooth events, so I decided it would be a great idea to try to decorate for Christmas. I really wanted to make a snowflake chain, so I pulled out some white paper and got to cuttin'. Here I was thinking this snowflake is going to be bomb! I slowly open the paper in anticipation of seeing a beautifully adorned snowflake. All of a sudden the paper starts to fall apart... this was not good.

I guess you can't just cut it up like a valentines day heart. It's pretty embarrassing but I had to look online to find a "how to make snowflakes" tutorial. Here is the end result.. I was pretty impressed.

....PS: pay no attention to the naked man in the picture frame. .. I'm trying to rearrange my decorations but wanted to show off my snowflakes.

Confession time

.... today.... was the first time

i cut an onion. yes, i'm pretty embarrassed to admit it.

let's just say the onion won that battle.

Prom all over again...

Jason had an award ceremony/Christmas banquet for his accounting fraternity (yes, they exist).

So we had to get all dolled up for the night out. Jason's mom made us take a picture before we left, and I had a prom flashback. Sooo here it is =)

Yes we are both completely pale, but hey who cares?

We are trying to decide if we want a real or fake tree or any tree at all this year.. we won't be here for Christmas so I don't know what we will end up doing. What do you think?

Can I do it?

I'm thinking about doing this. Does anyone want to be my partner in crime? Keep in mind I do wear scrubs most of the day. . so this really would be a challenge, but I'm up for it. Anyone else?

The Big 2-4!!

Yesterday Jason turned twenty-FOUR! can you believe it? This all means that I will be 23 in a few short months. He had a great birthday weekend. We went and saw Social Network on Friday, it was pretty good. Saturday, Jason enjoyed a day of sleeping in followed by the Fresno State football game (on TV). We then went on a hot date to Ruth Chris Steakhouse, it was AMAZING! And this is coming from a person who isn't a huge fan of steak.

On his actual b-day we woke up and he opened presents, attended church & had our friends over for some food & games.

We had a lot of fun!!!

Spiders & Pumpkins

This post has nothing to do with spiders & pumpkins.. but this is our Halloween post. I, of course, waited until the day of the ward trunk-or-treat to pick out a costume. We went to Target and I eyed these sweet onesie pajama set & had to have it. Our little CoCo served as a wonderful accessory. Jason was himself.. I mean, a nerd =) I love my accounting major hubby! We had a fun time with our friends at the trunk-or-treat!

Trip to Utah

A week ago Jason & I were able to escape the Fresno heat and head to Utah for a mini family reunion. We had a blast and the house was sweet. Our vacation was filled with eating, playing cards, swimming, a trip to bridal veil falls and BYU, more eating, hanging out with family, and more card playing. We were both very sad to fly back to Fresno, and with it school and work.

Vacation Here We Come

The hubby and I are headed to Heber, Utah for a mini family reunion.

You know what this means?

No school, No Work.. did I mention No School?

And you know what that means?

Hubby to myself. ALL to MYSELF.

Easter..

For our Easter Sunday we watched general conference and ate a yummy lunch prepared by Sheila. Later we drove up to Three Rivers to have dinner with my Aunt and Uncle who were camping in their sweet trailer. We drove to see a bridge they loved & played good ole' settlers.

This morning before I left for the zoo.. I mean "class" I discovered that Tucker had to dug to China in the backyard.. and he had the muddy face, paws, and body to prove it.

Congratulations!

Jason was accepted to Fresno State.

YAY!

We are so relieved, we have been waiting for months to finally hear back.

We will now officially be in Fresno for @ least 2-3 more years.

For Valentines day I made a yummy two layer cake.

It was nothing fancy but I was super proud of myself for trying to be domestic.

A few weeks ago, some friends in the ward had a

murder mystery dinner.

I was the current wife of the deceased millionaire who's

"will reading" we attended.. that was entertaining.

Jason was Fabio Fabulous the pool boy... I hired to clean our pool.

And of course you know I can't end a post without pointing out how ridiculously cute our children are....
